Title: Frontier Graveyard Created by: David Furr and Shannon Smith Written by: David Furr Status: 5 issues fully inked and lettered.
Synopsis: The transcontinental railroad was going to bridge the East to the West and usher in a new age of prosperity along the frontier. But something’s gone wrong. A crew of rail workers has disappeared, and settlements along the line are falling silent. The railroad hires Nathanial Holden and Ezekiel Grey to search for answers. What they find instead is a trail of bodies and a quiet town on the verge of annihilation.
The long wait is over! I got a few boxes of Frontier Graveyard – The Risen (Director’s Cut) issues in last week due to the awesome contributors of our successful Kickstarter last year. I will sign each copy as they are sold.
This collection of issues 1, 2, and 3 is the first in our series of trade paperbacks to premier this year. These will also be the flagship item at Cons this year from myself and the team at Blue Inferno for 2017. Hope to make some announcements soon on next Con appearance. Until then, please keep on the look out.
Cowboys, zombies, and…a samurai? A deadly mystery brews deep in the West and is about to be unleashed on an unsuspecting frontier.

It’s been a long road for me these last few months. I have relocated to Miami and don’t feel the transition was a good idea. I love Miami and the have many friends here but, I made strong connections in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. I felt like home there and I am sure I will be there again.
As for PROFESONE.com, we have completely slept on the job. I have been in ‘Work Overload’ mode for the past five months. I have completed the first issue of Sword Theory with writer Adam Cogan at the helm, reworked Frontier Graveyard with writer David Furr, and started a completely new project called The Other Side of Nowhere featuring the works of writer Marcel Dupree.
The Sword Theory project has been on hold for so long Adam Cogan felt it was time to revisit the story as a whole. I went ahead and made a sub-story to Sword Theory to ease my itch to illustrate. During that time Adam helped start a company called Dark Unicorn Games and focused most of his time writing. In that wait, I cleaned up Dizzy Spells and released it on Tapastic for the world to see. But in short, Adam and I have been in two different directions and consumed by work.
Two weeks ago Adam surprised the crap out of me by dropping a full recap of Sword Theory with edits and corrections and I am overly excited to get started.
Frontier Graveyard has been completely reworked and many panels have been redrawn. You know it’s bad when your own son tells you “Yeah, you completely didn’t care about that page.” The sad part is, I do care but maybe I had too many hours of work on my plate that day. You can now view the series on Tapastic. If you do, please leave comments.
I will post everything I draw almost as I draw it here on PROFESONE.com so be ready for some corny and possibly awesome work to come ;-).
